We sit down with our lead designer to talk about what the design process looks like for an Evolve board. From initial sketches and prototyping parts, to sending a final board into production, there is many challenges and successes in creating a ground-up design. “Electric forms of transport are an interesting area of development. Aimed at high-end users, the Evolve Carbon Hadean is a premium version of an existing model that showcases a smart use of materials and design construct to reduce weight and bulk. The well-executed upgrade cleverly uses smart technology in the processing (including composite forged carbon fibre) and the electronics (including lithium-Ion battery cells electric motors) to ooze speed and performance.
