When Jeff Anning, the founder of Evolve, first dreamed of creating an electric skateboard that had the electronics built inside the deck, it had never been produced. Once his concept was brought to life, it created a new type of electric longboard – the stealth and solid carbon fibre skateboard! Is carbon fibre good for skateboard?
Yes, because carbon decks are stiff. This can be beneficial as it offers stability if you are travelling off-road or at high speeds, but it can be trickier to manoeuvre. The longer-standing platform and dropdown sections allow you to lock your feet in for extra grip.
What is the best material for a skate deck?
We know carbon fibre is super strong, it's stiff, and you can shape it. And doing that into a skateboard, well, that's what we need if we did a cavity of some sort and had electrics inside that carbon fibre will give us the strength that we need. How does the carbon fibre differ in the Hadean and the Carbon GTR?
The Hadean uses handmade forged carbon, whereas the Carbon GTR uses the layering technique.
Forged carbon takes chards of carbon fibre, mixes it with resin and compresses the material into a mould. The benefits are a very light and strong deck. The complex forged technique makes the deck stronger in multiple directions as the weave interlocks more securely.

They sometimes throw in a spare part or two of what I ordered. That's really nice of them.
This bike is hands down the best in its class. What class? Think of it as a sports car of electric biking. Not so much in speed but in the sense of cruising. Will definitely be using this bike as my preferred bike for everyday riding.
I love this bike. I am not your typical rider. I'm a 65 year old grandma who rides every day. I love the mid drive motor because it feels like a real bike unlike most ebikes that go with little effort.
I can actually get a good amount of exercise but still have fun with the throttle. Thanks Evolve for giving my retirement years this amazing blast of fun!
I’m 43 old school bmx rider this bike is perfect with the skyway wheels etc every part is special from the motor to the frame well done evolve.
Warranty issue: A quick turn around with identifying the problem and deliver of the new part. Now my ride is like new!
Great team, very nice and good to have a yarn with, very helpful and have heaps of advice to give about setups. watched them help out a young fella set up street wheels from A/t wheels which they did in a timely manner, great lads and happy to help ya

After ordering, this changed to March, then mid-March, and now mid-April.
The delay itself is disappointing, but the main issue is the complete lack of communication. I have contacted Evolve multiple times and only received automated responses stating someone would get back to me — no one has.
This is a $4799 purchase, and I would have been happy to wait if there had been clear and honest communication throughout.
At this point, I’m considering requesting a refund due to the lack of support and transparency.

Shopping on the evolve web site is an awesome experience they pretty much have everything you could possibly want
Purchased it just wanted something to support the skate community that has a funny fit. It’s like it fits around my head but sits 6 feet above it not 6 feet but like 4 inches it just doesn’t touch my head. It doesn’t really feel like it’s worn my head it feels like it has a band around. It would not recommend this hat. Should look into like a soft hat something that you could wear in summer and would stay on your head and be light an air. I would not recommend this. Anyone

This trucker style cap has a different material at the back to the traditional plastic. It's a mess fabric which seems to be more comfortable so far. Id buy another one when this wears out.
So when you get on and pedal the bike pulls you forward like quite a bit quicker then you'r pedaling.
The sensation is fantastic! You kinda feel like a super hero : ) I mean look at it too. It's stream lined.
It feels great and it looks great. People ask about it every time we go out. So I finally bought one and my wife liked it so much, she kept it and bought me another one! No kidding. Riding together is a lot of fun for us.
I have both the Hadens and I absolutely love them!! So now I find myself having a hard time deciding which superior Evolve toy I should take for a spin. Thank you Evolve for the killer boards and now this rippin BMX bike! You guys get it right every time. Cheers to knocking it out of the park.
Riding the (first?) Project BMX in Japan (Chrome / Spoked) has made me the unofficial mascot of Osaka streets. People stop mid-slurp of their ramen and stare like I just rode out of an anime intro. At the conbini, they ask if I'm testing some secret government project. I mean, who wouldn't? This bike rockets through Japanese streets so fast, I'm convinced it's powered by pure wasabi and the spirit of a thousand cherry blossoms. It turned me from "average guy on a Mama-chari" to local kids calling me a "Rocal BMX Regend!" Honestly, I'm pretty sure I deserve a cape, a theme song, and maybe even a mascot. This isn't just a bike, it's a two-wheeled boss that commands respect everywhere it goes! Seriously though... it's so much fun!
