GTR2 Bamboo All Terrain (All-Terrain)

Coolest board ever!! This is my second bamboo style Evolve. Air tires make for an amazing ride. The suspension, the speed , the handling is amazing!! My first board is just as good as it was five years ago when I originally bought it. Looking forward to enjoying the ride with friends and family. Thanks for making a great product. I live in sydney the GTR is perfect for carving around streets light but powerful when needed on hills.. flex deck is great .. best and most fun way explore a city .. stop for a coffee and keep exploring .... i am a massive massive fan best fun you can have standing up .. rugged and just high quality parts .. i swap out the AT for abec 107mm absolutely love it .. these boards ride prefectly the phaze control is so smooth to use and so responsive .. i could talk for hours about this product!!!! unbeleivable product so much fun .. i use vicious griptape on deck this stuff sticks to your feet great for carving with confidence

I had been checking out these Bad Boyz for a few months and couldn't justify spending the cash, but when I moved from Raglan to a major city and was missing my surfing fix and still had our family car on the north island, I decided to take the plunge and get one. I've been using it to cummute to work and back every day which is just short of 20 klms per day. I have to admit it's probably the best thing I've ever purchased, I get to cut through traffic, take short cuts through parks and around lakes which you 100% can't do in the car. On top of that it averages about 5 minutes faster than taking the car and getting stuck in jams. It's SO much fun I've even started taking the longer route to work and back. I'm saving money on fuel, and take it out on lunch breaks as well. I can't remember ever being so impressed with something Ive bought. It's easier to ride than I thought and you get used to it really quickly and it definitely helps my surfing itch, although it feels more like snowboarding than surfing. When I've needed to speak with Evolve with help with something Ben at Evolve has been awesome and always helps with anything I need, it's really good customer service at Evolve. In short my GTR Bamboo 2 has been a great investment in not only having something to get to work and back but also my mental health. I always feel great after a ride. I'm 45 years old, I'm a father of a 1 year old boy, I'm a larger rider although within the weigh limits for the board, and I can't recommend buying one of these boards enough. It's been a game changer for me. Go get one, happy shredding!

Hi I’m loving my new GTR board. I was cruising around Auckland with a big smile on my face. I’m 60 years of age but still a big kid at heart. I’m enjoying carving up the roads for a long time yet

I’m 61 and haven’t been able to get out for a Surf for few years. I’ve been checking the Evolve boards out for 18 months at least. Dropped in the shop when we were on the Gold Coast last year just to get a look and feel of the real thing. The Crew there on the day were great and helpful . When the Black Friday sale started I showed the wife and unbeknownst to me she purchased it. Very very happy, getting out on paths and tracks as much as possible in our beachside and river are.

I purchased this board as a 15 year old looking for a way to get around my small town life without asking for rides altough all of my family discouraged me I maintained my course for 3 years and eventually reached my goal. I maintained my decision and still think that this is one of my best purchases ever no regrets at all I do however recommend that you where a pair of wrist guards on top of a face protecting mountain bike helmet as when u fell off mine those are what allowed me to get back on and keep enjoying that sweet ride. I did have one problem with the led shred lights but the customer service was amazing and I got a new set promptly. Thank you EVOLVE for making dreams come true. I look forward to working with you in the future 😃

THE best E board I have ever ridden. Not that I haven’t bought a few mingers in my time, but this thing is incredible. I’m obsessed with it. If I’m not boarding, I’m thinking about boarding. Incredible power and rand and the ride is the closest thing to snowboarding I have ever found which didn’t require a wetsuit or a trip to Colorado.
Buy one. Now. You’ll thank me.
(Oh, and wear a lid and some armour - you are gonna need it.)

Let me tell you what I think about the board, but they won’t answer my responses to find out. Where is that? I ordered it two weeks ago. Nobody answers the phone number. Nobody answers emails.

Everything about GTR series feels premium and is worth the money, it's like the Apple of E Stakes.
PROS:
~ the availability of power whenever we need it.
~ smoothness of craving with the DKT
~ the coating of the trucks is almost unscratchable
~ Phaze remote's quality and ease of usage

CONS:
~ the brake doesn't completely stop the board
~ the "spray on" part of the grip falls off partially within weeks as shown in the picture
~ the Evolve app doesn't record the rides

What a board!!! So smooth on transitions with plenty of speed to boot. Worth every cent

I think it is great underestimated it, but when I went to through the grass is like I was on ice is gliding past. Nothing was in my way, and I was just full blast through the park.

love the size, flex, power, smoothness, range and breaking.. such a good all around 2 in1 board for sure

Really stoked with the Bamboo GTR series 1. After arriving from Adelaide stupidly depressed without transport I was looking a form of electric transport to get around. Did a lot of research on the electric scooter and skateboard brands with the best price to ratio product being Evolve.

Apart from a small technical error which the crew fixed up free of charge and on the spot (which is hard to get these days) the board has given me so much happiness and more hope in life. Now I’m addicted to riding everywhere on it.

The product is super user friendly and easy to adjust to your riding style. With barely any skating experience it was scary at first but after a few rides you start become one with the board and all your anxiety disappears.

Only recommendation to Evolve is to throw in a spare inner tube when purchasing a brand new board apart from that Evolve is the real deal :) stay awesome

The worst part of your work week (apart form the work itself) is the commute, especially in Sydney.
Now I found a fun way of travelling to work and actually look forward to my daily commute!
And trust me, on anything other than a freshly paved smooth path with no branches or potholes littering the walkway (which BTW does not exists in the real world), the off road wheels are a massive help.

So far only a few scrapes and bruises, but without the control of this board there would be plenty more.

Zero buyers remorse, can't recommend enough!

I can't say enough good things about it gas prices are intentionally High it makes it easy for a single dude to cruise in store do some grocery shopping and have a blast on the way home or make a nice night run at about midnight when nobody's out and you can full blast up and down curves through the park through the parking lot it don't matter take this damn thing anywhere your awesomeness

We are really enjoying the board. I’ll have to say one thing we miss is a reverse mode.

Our last big bummer is that we have had problems syncing with the remote. Make me kinda wonder

Other than that - a plus!

I had never ridden a skateboard. Never snowboarded. Never surfed. In lockdown boredom I decided I needed a new hobby and splurged on a GTR Bamboo AT.

In the short time it took for the board to be assembled, checked and shipped, I began to feel a hint of regret. What if I wasn't able to ride it?!

My concerns were quickly replaced with pure joy as I eased into it with the very relaxing Safe Mode. Only a week later and I'm already in GTR mode. This thing is a DREAM to ride!

There is so much content on youtube from Evolve to help you get started. So if you're feeling any hesitation or concern...just get online...then GET ON BOARD!

Quality control is BAD - Dramatic improvement needed !

* The £80 elbow and knee pads seems to be for children but that is not specified explicitly and sold to all age groups - label on items states " User Weight 25-50KG " !!!
* The board took one whole week to deliver, instead of next day delivery due to fraud doubts( had to provide too much personal info in addition :( - be aware
* The remote control when charging shows green light( fully charged ) when it is only about 50 % full
* One of the motors/belt makes horrible noise while driving at 15 km/h in ECO mode - kind of useless that mode as I do not want to damage the belt
* The board arrived with very low wheel pressure - ~20 PSI out of 50PSI.
* The motor belts on both sides have not been evenly tightened - one is much looser than the other.
* The wheels are not spinning evenly on all sides and the back wheels are touching the plastic belt cover about 30% of the time while spinning( scratches on tire image attached). Had to move wheels around and add washers behind the back wheels to alleviate the problem to some extent.
* Most board deck/ belt cover screws were not tightened( some were) so had to do that first thing after receiving it .
* One wheel is disbalanced and I used scotch tape on the opposite side, to counter it always stopping to spin with a particular side down.
* Customer service responded, but were unwilling to offer a compromise on those accounts.

Other than that I like the brutal acceleration and the all terrain capability.
